We have a variety of small ( I think) animals that come at night and steal the cats food.  I suspect most of the time it's a raccoon because the water dish goes down way out of proportion to anything drinking.

I want to get my wife a game camera for Christmas as she's often said she'd like one to see what goes on out there at night.

I don't want to spend a fortune to see a raccoon, a possum or a skunk but maybe if we set it out by the field we might see a fox or deer so I'm wondering if one of those that flash infra red and don't scare anything would be worth the money.  I guess video would be nice if it were motion activated, but not by waving corn or grass.

I don't want junk but I was not wanting to spend a couple hundred dollars for one either.
