SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass! | My corn stalks going to beans laid clean and dead until planting in early June, Made 50 bpa. 40 acres that I planted forage oats on in March and baled 3.5 ton an acre from made 70 bpa planted June 26. No authority max pre may have made some of the difference but I'm thinking the living cover had a lot to do with it. Hadn't thought about spring planted cover before, I've been struggling with how to get fall planting to work. |
