North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast | For a 2 story, the only ones that work are the one piece gutter or the cap that fits over a gutter and under the shingles.
Downside- they only put water IN the gutter if the rain is soft or slow. HARD rains will shoot straight over the guard just like having no gutters.
A option is to install a trench with stone and slit pipe where the water lands during hard and soft rains to siphon it away from the foundation.
ALL screens will stop up eventually and require yearly cleaning. |
