Subject: Rancher in Idaho Shot by Deputies

Montana
I am sure shocked and sad as i read about the Rancher who was shot, when he was called by Dispatch to come take care of his mean bull. A car had hit the Bull and Emergency people were being attacked by the bull. Article says the deputies shot the bull but did not kill it and when Rancher arrived he had a rifle and a conflict arose and the one or both of the deputies shot and killed the Rancher.

It was apparently open range and around here that means the cattle have the right of way and if You hit an animal, you are liable. This is such a tragedy.
When the rancher's wife heard that he had been killed , she had a heart attack and is in critical condition.

This happened last Sunday near Council Idaho. My heart is broken and I am praying for a honest investigation and justice to prevail.
