We had rice tires on combine for few years, hated them, spin once and you are screwed, they're like a big shovel to dig a hole for you, maybe different soil types with more of a bottom might be better but they sure caused us a lot of grief, murphys law we hadvthem in our wet years, not dry times
Strange isn't it? Different area are so well, different.
Here you don't see a combine without rice and cane's because that's all that will go when it gets bad except tracks.
The combines that come from "up north" will run the R1's till it gets wet then they are getting changed.
Also used to get northern combines without 4wd but any machine sold here will have it. |
