| This example shows of the inexact science of soil testing and nutrient recommendations. I think it was a success in that your soil had enough nutrients to produce that kind of yield with adequate moisture. If you think you drew down soil nutrient reserves it should show up in your next soil test and result in increased nutrient application recommendations for your next crop. If you want to do anything different I'd pull a new soil sample and see if anything dropped. I wouldn't be surprised if you don't see much difference. Now if this happens for the next 3-5 years there will probably be a decline. | |
