There are reasons why you had a hard time finding people who have installed walk-in tubs. There have been some discussions in this forum about them. Mostly, they come down to two things:

A. Sit (naked) while the tub fills.
B. Sit (naked and wet) while the tub empties.

Just a little thinking turns most people away from them. Your mileage may vary...
