SE SD | dlc - 9/18/2015 07:08 Similar thing happened in the church I grew up in (15 years after I was gone). 80 year old pillar of the church got the boot. Some segments of the evangelical church are headed in the wrong direction. The leadership's/pastor's way or the highway. Hyper authoritarianism. Membership needs to maintain its power in the church and not vote it away to the pastor and his yes men. In my opinion pastor and leadership should serve at the pleasure of the membership, not the other way around. dlc
