We had a similar unit around here 20 + years ago. Mad by John Rea of Touchet Wa. near Walla Walla. They were around 2-3000 bu and driven by a tractor pto. We called them "Wally Wagons". They were OK for the bigger farmer but a coupla trailers would take their place ...

I've seen a couple of those in auction flyers over the years. I liked the concept, but since we usually haul to our own storage it really wouldn't be that helpful. Now it would be cheaper, easier, and more effective just to add another cart.

Back in about '04 when we were custom combining some wheat we set up two 625 bushel gravity wagons and a 10" auger at the edge of the field so we could combine more before having to wait for the Mexican truckers from Othello to show up. One morning we had both wagons, the cart, and both combines full when the first truck arrived, and we filled three trucks in short order. We were instantly that trucking company's favorite place to haul wheat out of the field. They were disappointed when we finished.
