Subject: RE: 2016 winter wheat crop?

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
I don't believe in cutting back on inputs. If I'm going to plant a crop I want to get as much yield as possible. I don't feel I overspend as it is.
I have about the same acres because that's how it fell in the rotation. Over the next few years if things don't change we will be moving to more corn but will likely always have some wheat as we just don't have many other rotational options.
About the only thing I'm doing different this year is buying all of my seed wheat and treating most of it with fungicide/insecticide. My wheat quality was too poor to keep back. This seed was grown out of my area so I hope it is better quality.
