For us it's how far can the combine go. We went to 10r30 heads because the combine can get through a half mile and 1 good 1000 by cart driver per combine can keep up. Last year we ran a 12 row and a 10 row it took 3 carts to keep up. It's all about combine capacity and header width for us. We don't have to cut lands. We start at one end and work our way across.
