Yep

90 ft boom making 2 wheel tracks that fallow old tracks from 2--3 previous passes in 15" rows. 14.9" tires.
Spraying Aug 1 causes a lot less damage than Aug 15.
Bonus is the bugs are dead 4-5 days before the plane could be there.


 You make some good points, there are some variables to take into consideration. Taking your specs. and spraying across the rows and assuming that the wheel track kills the plants completely and it is the first pass i came up with a yield loss of 2.2%, so on a 60bu/a yield potential you are lossing 1.33 bu/a. This is assuming that i did the math right.
