XL 45 and PIO 3780 were big numbers in the past. I had a field of 45 that was TOTALLY tasseled on the 4th of July, which is not normal here. 3780 looked like crap till harvest time. Couple of years ago someone around DSM planted the old numbers in a test plot. Wonder why we never heard the results.S???
I remember two Trojan varieties 102 and 108, you could not argue with the yield but 102 broke over terribly and 108 would drop a nice big yellow ear sometime in Sept. and it really looked bad, probably not over five bpa, but was ugly.
