Saronville NE | Went to sale today had quite a few bawlers. I also sold some 7-8 weights. I came home empty 580 lb brawlers brought more per head then my framey 7 weights and they were far from fleshy.
Was very obvious that the normal guys who buy consistently are gunshot and tired of losing money this yr, cause they weren't bidding on much of anything, all went to a new young guy and order buyer for a main feed yard. Talked to a guy sitting next to me that we visit about every week in barn outa 1200 hd, had only 1 pen made money this yr so far. He says same I do the bloodbath is coming very soon, he says 1.20s in 16. Another guy sold 6 weights off grass that he bought as 450s last spring, didn't even get his first cost back.
And you wanna know why so many guys say they are too high? They plain are, I'm sorry cow guys.
If I was a guy with 5 weights, I'd sell right off the cow, won't ever look any better and still make you good money.
