If the backgrounders and feeders are the ones paying too much how is that the cows guys fault. It's just like cash rent, rent is not high because the landlords are greedy it's high because farmers who can't run a pencil keep paying too much. We operate in a free market economy as long as people are willing to keep losing money calves and rent will be too high. Things are going to have to change, some are going to learn hard lessons.
