South Dakota | Just sat down with the pioneer dealer and the price he quoted over the phone was for a hybrid that didn't have dual above and below ground modes of action, so it wasn't comparable to smartstax. Pioneer is a lot closer in price to dekalb than originally posted. I'm going to make them compete for my business and will meet with dekalb and wensman as soon as they have prices. In an era of lower prices, it shouldn't just be the farmer who works for every dollar, the seed companies have to give up some ground or they can pack their bags. | |
