I got 17 years of rough use out of my 1998 Polaris Sportsman 500. Looked at buying a newer used one, but then I saw the pricing and would wonder about upkeep. Ended up buying a 2015 Polaris 570 brand new from a dealer for $5200. Some good close out pricing right now. This was actually less than I paid for the 1998 new.
