my 75 did the same thing one time going down the road. It surprised me that the brakes could lock up as it never had any brakes worth a dam. The trans oil was hot as helll so let cool and messed with brakes and got them to release. Never did seem to do any harm but we made a different brake system using a 12 volt pump to activate them with a proportional valve and a 1000 lb relive valve, good brakes now.
