Marion, TX | Hey All -
I'm in an area with no access to any internet service except satellite or line-of-sight dish to tower. For those of you using satellite, have you had a good or bad experience? I've talked to both Hughes and Exceed, both of which promise great service. However, everything that I have read online from real customers is far from great, in most cases both services get bashed pretty badly.
I'm leaning towards a local dish to tower provider, Ranch Wireless (central Texas, near New Braunfels). If any of you have experience with Ranch, or any other provider in the area, what has your experience been like? I want to make sure that I make the right decision before getting roped into a contract.
