NE Iowa | It is just the couple rows of counties along the Mississippi River and over in to western Wisconsin. All the rains seem to come across Iowa and then just fall apart 60 miles west of the river. We still have a decent corn and bean crop but the dryness has taken the top 10-20% of potential yield off. First two cuttings of alfalfa were great but the third will be short. | |
