Subject: RE: Strong Storms In Eastern Kansas

Anderson County Kansas
It was very good for the beans, and I'm not sure how it hurt the corn except for delaying harvest. We had some beans hailed on a little, but not any damage to any corn I can see. The corn fields were dry enough 2 or 3 inches won't make it muddy very long. I have 2650 acres of corn to pick, and I was hoping for rain for the beans I can tell you that. We had big hail, but it wasn't real heavy. We are much better of with the storms than without them. I bet most around here would agree with me.
