S.E. Iowa | We had the Aerostars here in Burlington nice guys it was really neat to host a dinner for them and the military guys. I kind of wish our airshow was still going but it took sooooo much effort and money was huge struggle. It was always free and people would not pay 5 bucks to park on the airport. We had one of the pilots from the A10 demo team swear in our local recruits as well. The most interesting guy we ever hosted was a fella named Dick Ewers. He was from NASA and flew in a F18. It is quicker to say what he hasnt flown. He started in Vietnam flying F4's. Great Pictures!!!! | |
