Subject: RE: Mexican restuarant painting

Dearfield Co.
There are many variations of the painting in mexican food restaurants all over------------I can't remember the name of the aztec warrior or the woman but was told the story when I made a comment about one hanging in a mexican food restaurant where the woman was nude.

The woman's father was a emperor and the aztec warrior was in love with her so the emperor sent him to battle with the intents he would never come back since he had promised the couple they could wed if he survived. The emperor then told his daughter he had been killed causing her to die of a broken heart and the warrior came back and tried to bring her back to life and when he couldn't he built her a tomb close to the sun. The original painting hangs in a mexican art museum somewhere
