NW central IL | just like anything else, you shop around, and you find a deal. I bought a 2 yr old 10 bottom salford last year for less then half of new, with tits still on the tires. plowed 800 acres....very impressive plow, even my old man who is a red plow guy was totally impressed. we plowed 800 acres with it last year. all flat COC ground.
three years ago I plowed out the middle of a few 80's as a tester. better corn the next year, ripped stalks and went to beans, take one guess where the beans were 5-7 bu better....maybe don't happen everyear, but impressed me
