, My experience Corn from pioneer is not yielding as good as my other companies i plant. They are not very competive on there price around here, so i don't plant there corn. There soybeans on the other hand i have been very happy with. and as far as earlier orders. That's the salesman there. If he is a good salesman to you. He can give you a price in sept and keep it good till march. If they want your business they will do that for you and not keep on you ass about how many discounts your going to lose if you wait. I am same way, Im not committing to orders on corn untill i have harvested all mine and i get prices from other dealers.
