Lahogue soil types are part of Iroquois co, but they represent a pretty small % of the overall county. If I remember right Iroquois is top3 largest ag co in IL for land size and farmable acres at 6xx,000 some odd acres, so the area while good size is a drop in the bucket compared to all of the others.
Went from St Anne to Watseka on the back roads the other day and I'm not sure I could say I saw a 120bu field along the way. | |
