I got to do lots of tests with this and other products like it and yes it will reduce compaction and loosen the soil. The problem is at the rate you have to apply it you can buy new land. Test plots with 20 gallons to 100 Sq ft worked great. I could push a 6ft rod into the ground with one finger after 6 months.

8700 gallons to the acre fixes your problem.

Those "amendments" are the most overpriced stuff in a jug you can use.
