Does your fan come on? At what temp? Whats the highest temps you are seeing?
Here is what I did with my 07 classic after 185,000.

Last year hauling 14 1,500 round bales the ect would get up to 225 deg before the fan would kick on and the trans would get up to 300 deg (its about shot anyway). The coolant would easily get over 230 deg. So a few months ago during our "rainy season" I pulled the radiator and intercooler and pressure washed both. I also replaced the fan clutch with a hayden 2850 (amazon is cheapest) and also radiator hoses and coolant.

The new fan clutch kicks on at about 205 and goes off at about 192, it kicks in at idle so a/c is cooler and it is noticeable when taking off. This year pulling the same load on the same road (ambient temp was 5 deg cooler but was more humid) ect never got over 209 and trans never got over 220. I was really amazed at what a difference it had made. Once that fan kicks on it pulls the temp down fast.
