You want Deere to pay a repair bill on a tractor that is, at minimum, 9 years old. I think you will be changing colours again in another few years if that is your expectation.

I agree with you that 2 weeks is a long time to wait on parts. I wonder if a good hydraulics shop would be able to rebuild it? We have also found our 6420 less reliable than our 74 & 7510.
