Subject: Surflan

Tenn Valley
Surflan is a surface applied DNA herbicide that controls grasses & some winter weeds. It has a much lower vapor pressure than the other DNA herbicides. It was registered by Elanco / Eli lilly in the early '80's. It comes in generic form now. With the interest in canola growing in the Mid South, I'm thinking it could have a fit for that crop with minimum till seeding operations.
