I didn't hear about that until the corn was already up. Unless the 1319 surprises me, this will probably be my last year using that variety. I used 1498 last year but it was $75 more a bag than 1319 and I was figuring $3 corn at the time. I've had non-GMO 1319 a couple years ago on single 36" rows and don't remember ears falling off.
