Tough time of year around here, everyone is trying to have grain cleaned after harvest but before wheat goes back in the ground.

Well, you can't clean organic grain unless you are certified to do it, and if you want to clean one load that means a big pain in the butt unless you are currently doing a run of organic.

Ask your certifier who will do it.


I don't believe thats true. I have had a mobile cleaner clean wheat for me running on 14-15 years now. Just like with a custom combine it has to be deep deep cleaned and purged before you run organic product through it. On the other hand my millet and oats are cleaned at separate stationary processing plants, much more complex, and they do have to be certified.
