Correct, you did download the latest. Since you're outside the US, you'll probably want to call your dealer/distributor if I had to guess. The code on the CD case is good for any version. You wouldn't even need to get the CD out of the case, just the code on the back.

I don't know of any way to buy online yet. So you'd need to do that, or call when the US support lines were open and buy it over the phone. Then they'd let you register online after entering your info.
