I got a cable to run my ground speed from my ez guide 500 to my Raven 450 spray monitor. Anybody know what the exact radar frequency rate needs to be set at so the ez guide 500 and the raven monitor both show the same speed? I put in 42.9 Hz/mph and it is close bit still jumps around some. It it just by trial and error until you just get close or is there a set calibration number for this? Thanks for all replies.
There are many combinations that should work. It is a trial & error process. If they don't agree change either the HZ in the 500 or the speed cal in the Raven. I used to set the Trimble at 57 HZ and then the old Raven number was quite close.
As far as jumping around I never really experienced that. Maybe try using 57 in the Trimble and a smaller number in the Raven. |
