Middlesex County, Ontario | Its a pretty simple procedure, you just need a computer and a USB stick.
Start by saving all your field and vehicle data to the USB stick and save it to your computer and the cloud. If you dont understand the cloud (it could get moved by the wind and rain your data anywhere) then email it to yourself or something so you always have a backup stored somewhere.
Next clear the USB stick and download the sofware updates. You used to be able to download them from the Trimble website, but now they only allow dealers to do that. You can either contact your dealer for the update and have it emailed to you, or you can download it from triangle ag's website: http://www.triangleag.com/750_downloads.shtml Sometimes it takes Triangle a month or two to put up the new update.
Update the software on the monitor, there are instructions on Triangle's website.
Import your fields and vehicle data to the 750 if they were cleared during the update.
Done.
Do not update to a new software version immediately after it is released. Give it a few months. Also don't do anything like trying to update in the middle of planting if everything is working well. A while back there was an update that screwed up everyone running articulating tractors for a couple months until they got that fixed.
