Anacedote of the week. Many years ago Dad spread some atrazine around the sidewalk and house to make mowing easier for Mom. Well it must have went on a little 'hot', grass retreated from those areas for about 5 years (out about 3 feet) before it started encroaching again (took another 5 years to get back to normal). Dad didn't have to help with yardwork any more after that. Good luck to you.
