How big of a combine are you talking? Dumping on the go? A combine with a 30' or 35' flex head will be able to do anywhere from 150-200 acres per day if you are dumping on the go, moving at a good clip(4+ mph) and don't have a lot of road time. This is talking 10-12 hour days.

Corn head.......should be similar numbers..............but will depend on whether your trucks can keep it away and if you are dumping on the go. Stopping to dump in corn means stopping a lot. An 8 row head(20') should allow you to pick 130+ acres per day if you are moving 5-6 mph. I'm guessing a 12 row wouldn't be too much more because most guys would probably slow the combine down some. Corn we usually run 13-14 hour days.......sometimes less depending on how much drying needs to be done. That's another thing to consider, how many bushels can your dryer handle.
