Subject: RE: I always knew my Daddy was right

North of London
I am sitting in here in front of the fan trying to 'unwind'

Cut some lumber for the neighbour, about 50 pieces.
Had been sawn with a 45 angle on one side but did not work so were trying to salvage a 3X5 inch piece out of each one.

3 times through the saw for each stick and had to turn them end for end for last 2.
Carry them in, cut, pile then cut 2 X again and carry back out then carry out the waste.

So neighbour sent hired man over, good man did more than his share taking sympathy on and old guy like me BUT another hired man came over after lunch.
He did more than his share too But I am whipped. Sweat buckets as temperature is around 34 and I am not used to working like that as i am theoretically semi retired.
Used muscles I have not used for a while and feel really TIRED now.

Tomorrow will be interesting but an Aleve is in order for tonight.
