Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I have an old Sony Walkman that I use with a 3M Worktunes Headset while mowing the lawn. This works very well. The other night I forgot to put the mower away and we got about 3" of rain. The Walkman was sitting in the cup holder of the mower with the earphone jack pointing up. It got waterlogged.
I turned it right side up and some water ran out of the earphone jack. Water was still visible behind the screen. I shook it to try to get more water out but it seems to be air locked. I put it in a sealed container submerged in rice in hopes that the moisture will be drawn out. This has only been for one day but I didn't see any improvement this morning as there is still water under the screen that moves as I turn the unit over.
Other than leaving it in the rice for more time is there anything else I can do? |
