Subject: RE: Corn Test Weight Question

NE KS
Around here and our farm included its hard to push dekalb past 60 lbs (usually 57-59) when our pioneer in the same field will be 60-62 lbs. The same goes for the custom acres we cut, pioneer 1, dekalb 2 and I'd have to say agrigold and lewis are the lightest corn I've been around. Golden harvest also seems to be fairly heavy but pioneer remains kings. Our neighbor back in the early - mid 90's had (can't remember what corn it was, was something strange) corn that weighed over 65 lbs. Heaviest coop had/has ever had.
