In our area, it doesn't seem to make any difference on dirt quality vs corn crop quality right now.

I personally know of 200+ bu APH fields that will not make 100 bu/A. Beans have fared better, but there are a lot of "holes" from water sitting. Need more tile you're thinking? The drowned spots often center on a catch basin going into tile system. Drowned area just dried enough this past week to allow machinery on them....like sprayers. It's the end of July & not practical to reseed beans here. Sure they'll grow, but the fall frost will take them out. They kind of make a cover crop.



Yea our first planted beans, May 3rd we finally got across July 21st to spray, only 78 days later. And I still went around the water.
