Thanks for this.   btw, our Palmers in KS have long been triazine-resistant also, so their idea of using metribuzin in the beans won't help here. 

Actually, I've learned today that Palmers and waterhemp in KS as well as the Corn Belt that are atrazine-resistant are still metribuzin-susceptible.  Weird, I know.  While decades ago some of the first cases of atrazine-resistance in other species were mutated binding sites, the issue in atrazine-resistant Palmers and waterhemp in KS is a metabolism-based resistance.  And apparently that doesn't automatically crossover to other chems in that MOA.  Go figure.
