Actually, I've learned today that Palmers and waterhemp in KS as well as the Corn Belt that are atrazine-resistant are still metribuzin-susceptible. Weird, I know. While decades ago some of the first cases of atrazine-resistance in other species were mutated binding sites, the issue in atrazine-resistant Palmers and waterhemp in KS is a metabolism-based resistance. And apparently that doesn't automatically crossover to other chems in that MOA. Go figure.
