I can do it on my computer, and did it on my Android phones, but even if I delete them on my computer, the emails still show on my iphone and ipad. All other smartphones can do this, yet I cant seem to do it on the iphone....what am i doing wrong, or not looking at? Its a pain when you have to delete 200 emails one at a time.
I'm in pretty much the same situation. I believe that I can delete all the trash in one shot but not delete them all without opening them or moving them to the trash first. I figured they possibly didn't allow mass deletes from the Inbox to prevent a person from accidentally deleting them. This is with an iPhone 6 on the latest OS.
It seems to me that some old emails magically reappear on the iPhone long after they have been deleted on the computer and the iPhone. There haven't been many. Maybe they reappear when I SYNC some new music on the iPhone. |
