NW Washington | Since a great deal of our wheat is exported to countries that want nothing to do with GMO crops for various reasons, real and imagined, the National Wheat Growers have resisted introducing GMO wheat. And as mentioned some research wheat did escape and caused a big uproar not to long ago. The "customer is always right" attitude seems to have won the day with wheat so far. | |
