Subject: Killing alfalfa in soybeans.


Elsmore, Kansas
Planted 25 acres of beans into a double turbo maxed thin stand of alfalfa on July 1 and sprayed on July 5th with 40 oz of rup. Well it didn't kill much and needs resprayed. He say do what it takes to kill the alfalfa and my chem guy said back at the beginning use a 2x rate of gly then come back w a 2x rate of gly agian and u should be fine.... well I say maybe.... I have enough blazer to spray that 25 acres with so should I add it to the mix???? Beans are 4-5" tall.... Thanks!!!
