| It has to be a mess over there last year I had to deal with replanting most of my crop from hail the middle of June to this year corn is about to tassel and haven't turn on a well yet, here in Nebraska where I am it looks like we could have a bumper crop. Rains have come almost perfect just before we need to water we get a shot of rain, a lot of guys have their irrigation pipe out ready to crank things up when the rains stop. In the 40 years I have been involved with the farm we have never not had to start the wells. The latest we did start our wells was the first week of August about 12 years ago. Best of luck out there I was able to weather the storm and stay afloat. | |
