West Central Missouri | We are located in west central MO and have been extremely wet and have not gotten our wheat stubble double cropped. We also need to produce 600 to 800 ton of silage a year to feed cattle with. We are considering drilling sudan into our wheat stubble and chopping in the fall. What specific varieties would produce the most tons and what tonnage could we expect given average rain and heat. When could we expect to chop this? We don't know much about this so all comments are welcome. I have been researching on here but wanted to post my specific situation. We are not looking for another disaster as we have enough of them currently.
