I think someone needs to develop a market for the dry devils claw pods and/or seeds as a fuel source.   I remember as a kid before the chemfallow that the darn claws would get matted up in the picker teeth on the sweep plows and we would peel them out of the pickers with a potato fork to pile up and burn.   Mighty hot fire and almost no ash!
