Missouri crop condition and progress report from NASS today: Somehow Missouri farmers increased soybean planting 11 percent for the week. That puts MO at 73% planted, wouldn't think it will go much higher. Hard to believe an entire state is so wet that fully 1/4 of the beans didn't get planted. Now, from my little corner of the state, the Northeast section, only 48 percent of the soybeans are planted. Do we win a prize or anything for having less than half our crop planted? Other areas ranged from 91 to 65 percent. |
