Subject: mushroom mulch

Northeastern Pa.
Anyone using mushroom mulch to buildup soil ? Gas company wants to come and plow up pipeline/ gas pad area ground and put mushroom mulch on it. Says it's a new Pa. DEP requirement. With all the rain we've had the ground has not washed with the cover that is on it now. It's too wet to plow and don't want them on the ground now. We currently have a 24" pipe going in the same fields right now. When it's done and the ground dries out we will restructure fields then. I want to put chicken litter, lime and fertilizer down. I heard I need a manure management plan to put the litter on. Good luck to all in Southern Pa. and other new pipeline areas. If you need any info on what to include in your agreements let me know and I can give you info on what we did and should have done. They do change regulations etc. along the way.
